I was at wholesale sports in Lethbridge a couple of weeks before antelope season and saw a woman with 3 teenage kids with her. They were looking at buying a crossbow to hunt with. One of the kids looked at a deer decoy on the wall and asked if that was an antelope. The mother responded that she did not think so. The kid behind the counter asked her what she planned on hunting with the crossbow. She replied antelope. He then mentioned that it usually took a couple of years to get drawn for antelope and she told him she was metis and was going out that week to shoot one. My biggest problem with this is that she did not know what one looked like. I left shaking my head in disbelief.
