Is the 204 ruger fading away

No there is definitely a place for the 22-250 I have no intentions of shooting these little rounds beyond 300 yards and that is where the 22-250 just starts to shine.
 
in north central BC the 204 is not popular or sought after at all. Almost all 'varmint' rifle sold are chambered in 22-250. Now mind you, our varmints include wolves and the 204 is not ideal. The 204 is a great cartridge and definitely not going to disappear any time soon. Ive yet to own one but have been thinking about one a bit lately...for gophers and 95% of coyote hunting it's damn near ideal
