Is the 6.5 Grendel just a necked up 6.5 BRX ?

I got to hold a 6.5 Grendel cartridge today and put it beside a 6mm BR Norma. They are extremely similar, and I think the 6mm BRX would be a dead ringer.

The Dasher was and is a better round..not by much..but it is. Proven winner and record holder.
The 6 mm GT feed from a magazine without spacer - round designed for this from the start.

The BRX was just part of the evolution from the 6 BRA leading to the 6GT.

6.5 Grendel is based off 220 Russian done by Alexander Arms in USA

The BRX is a Dasher “variant” that maintains the original 6BR shoulder angle so a bit less case capacity than the Dasher. Only a guess, but I think the BRX would have a water capacity about 7grn more than the Grendel?
