Is the flash suppressor threading on a 58 the same as an ak?

No. Same pitch but different direction twist.

I was looking into A muzzle brake for an 858 recently and my "research" concluded that the threading is different.

AK is 14x1 LH. CZ858 is 14x1 RH.
