is the market that flooded to see all those ar15 below $700?

I originally from Pakistan but live in Toronto. We can legaly own select fire weapons in back home.

Oh right on. How much do the Norinco's sell for back home?

To add to his personal account, I've also heard accounts Norc uppers mated to C7 lowers for $hits and giggles. Apparently it was a lot of fun, but I don't remember the names of these individuals, where it happened, or where I heard it from, nor do I have any live rounds, empty shell casings, pyrotechnics, or parts there of, and I have all my kit, Sir!

Lol yep, I had my 10.5" Norc upper on my so called rare marked Colt lower back when I had a Colt A3. For the life of me I cant remember the model though, it did bring good money when I parted it out on here

I also had a 10.5" Norc upper, seemed to shoot fine and didn't have any issues. I'd probably grab another if the price was right :)

One other thing to add is the CAD vs USD. It’s not looking too horrible right now, though it’s not nearly as good as it was in the summer of ’14.

That was the summer when irunguns.com cleaned house by bringing us the Colt LE6920s for Walmart pricing (just under $1,000). I remember some joker had a pair of LE6920s in EE for about 7 months or so and counting, asking about $2,500.

Anyway, not holding my breath, but if our dollar gets stronger, irunguns will clean up again and we will keep on winning…..S&W MP-15s can be had in the states for $319 from grababgundotcom.

I fukking hope so. I've been eyeballing this one from Lever Arms for a while:

As I understand it, Norinco cold hammer forges their barrels, not so much for the sake of longevity of their barrels, but as a cost savings because apparently it's cheaper to manufacture this way. The longer lasting barrel life is just a bonus.

I've already got an SA20 and a 20" Colt HBAR build, but if Lever drops their price on their Norc built CQ-A1s in response to the dropping price of US-made ARs, I may have to grab a few Norcs as beater/loaner rifles.

I have one of them

How do you like it?

I had a 14.5" and it was a little rough around the edges, but at least it went bang every time I squeezed the trigger. I never tested it for accuracy or precision, just a range toy that fed on Norc ammo. But I sold it years ago, and now I'm kind of curious what sort of groups the 20" can produce with decent ammo.
