I've heard from several retailers that Alliant didn't ship anything to Canada this year, or if they did it wasn't much.

Haven't seen any Bullseye for a year.

I bought some Reloader 22 in September. It doesn't come in often, or in large amounts, but some is trickling in, now and then.

I bought 2 lbs. Benchmark and 2 lbs. IMR XBR today at LeBarons in Ottawa today, plus Shotgun primers. I think they are out now. All the Varget was spoken for. Good bunch there.

With the new powder registry coming into effect I don't think there will be any shortage of powder

I just popped into the LGS here and they had just received their new powder shipment..........no Alliant but about 50 lbs of H1000, and a couple hundred pounds of other H and IMR powders.........YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEE..........didn't buy any as I have quite a good supply but I will be needing some IMR 4350.....they have about 20 lbs of it, and the only other powder I'm a little light on is RL 15 but the cartridges I use it in I have about 250 loaded, which is lots for now. Good to see the shelves starting to look like the old days, hope this BS is over........till next time !!!

I was at Londero 3 days ago and the only pistol powder they had left was 700x.

Check X-Reload, the web site does not show powder but he has a very big inventory of all brands of powder.

I don't entirely agree with this! Alliant powders are scarce, but most others are not too hard to find.
I saw IMR 7828, 4831, 4064, 4350, H4350, 4831, Superperformance, Leverevolution, H322, W760, 296, and quite a few others
at three local establishments.

The shortage is far from over. Try walking into the local store, and see how many Alliant powders they have in stock.

Yes, there is some truth to this. My local LGS recently received a lot of Hodgdon and IMR powders, but not a pound of any Hercules/Alliant stuff.
