is the powder shortage over ?

yea hoarding also helps the shortage

I got 3lb finally but been without any for 1 year :/ I know a fellow even in my town who doesnt load anymore but he has lots but wont sell the bullets or powder or primers....

I got burnt 20 years ago by various shortages and swore it would never happen again. Is that hoarding or advance planning?

I don't shoot as much as you do, but in the last 10 years or so there have been a variety of shortages so I remember looking at an older Winchester manual and with 760 powder and 748 powder you could load most any of the standard catridges from 222 right up to 30-06. So I ordered some extra of that, too bad I didn't know about IMR 4350 back in my early reloading days. FS

That would be advance planning. I have been giving kegs of Reloader 22 to friends that are coming up short.
The funny thing is that this unobtainable powder has been sitting in my powder locker since Clinton was first elected.

And before someone asks...... The answer is NO. I don't need anymore friends.

There is no Varget or nearly any powder in the Saskatoon Area. I have been trying to get it every weekend since we got here in April. I have been trying to get Varget for what seems like forever.

Is the powder shortage over....??? Answer: "Depends on where you live and what you are looking for".......If you want IMR4064 or IMR4350 and have a Cabela's nearby, no problem...! If you live north of 55 anywhere in Canada and want 10 pounds of Alliant RL-15, big problem..!

It's a matter of personal requirements for your chosen cartridge(s).......simple as that...

PS: If anyone has 10 pounds of RL-15 under their bench that they don't need....send me a PM...!!

Getting 1 pound og Reloder 15 is a heck of a challenge, never mind 15 pounds. FS

Most of the Alliant powders are getting tough to find. I am down to less than a lb of R-15, and I am down to 5lbs of R-22, and 5lbs, of R-7. Luckily, I no longer use R-15 in any of my rifles.

I was surprised today. I went to my LGS and they had a fresh shipment of powders and I was able to get 5lbs of Varget and then the other LGS I use gets thiers I will get another 5lbs from them. I support my LGS as they support me and have been able to both source me some items that the Wholesale Sports and Cabela's never seem to have nor care to get.
