This thread is only for those who have a "reasonable" amount of range experience with both guns: the T97 and Tavor.

I've noticed there are some threads on the internets that say the T97 is more accurate, but a poll is a better judge of averages in the imperfect world of the internets.

However, every semi-professional review I've seen of the Tavor shows it is a 1.5-2 MOA gun (eg

Let the crowd speak!

even if the T97 was more accurate it has reliability and quality issues. I wasn't happy with eirther or I would have one/both

Is the t97 more presice? No. Not by a long shot. Those iron sights are not capable of better precision than the iron sights available on the tavor.

I do believe the t97 may be more accurate.

I found my original Tavor to have the irons lined up beautifully with the Mepro and shot quite well.
My next Tavor came as a flat top, optic ready.

I think that finding the T97 as only an iron sight, maybe I put a little more effort into it.
Seeing how I changed out my Tavor for a rail, perhaps I am taking the easy way out by placing an optic on it.
I might be a bit strange that I find them both more capable than I am.

I didn't vote because I have never handled a Tavor (or seen one in person). I would love to be able to take a Tavor for a spin. It's one of my Dream rifles. With my T97, I'm able to hit an area of about 1' x 1' at 100 yards with the iron sights. As lawn gnome mentioned its likely more capable than I am.

The majority of T97 accuracy reports on here are at 25m.....I'd love to see a decent review using decent ammo at a decent distance....
