They can sit on their hands. For two, or three years, or more. There needs to be accountability and standard of service rules in the department assigned to determine classifications of new firearms. We won't get that any time soon.

It could. But then that would be the government doing what it wants, not the lab.

If the lab could do whatever it wanted, they wouldn't have classified the vz58, vz61, xcr, Atrs modern hunter and varmiter in our favour. They classified them that way because they could only do what the law permitted them to do, not whatever they wanted.

If the law changes, they will be doing whatever the government makes law.

That is the difference between the author of the message, and the messenger.

Some of those guns were approved under Liberal governments.
