Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I've been trying to find information on this for the last few weeks and can't find any-
(I've been ripped apart on these forums before for asking what apparently some people considered "Stupid Questions"...)
I tried to use the search engine on this website too, but the damned thing doesn't seem to want to work for me.

Anyway...
I know that Walther PPK's are prohibited unless they have had their barrels lengthened (which, in my opinion looks stupid ), but...
Are the old style, larger Walther PP's available at all? Are they long enough to be in simply the restricted category in Canada?
I've never once seen one in the exchange, so I'm assuming they're fairly rare...if they are at all?

From what I've been able to determine, the PP is fairly longer and larger in general in comparison to the PPK - Is there hope of finding one and legally purchasing it in Canada?

The P99 compared to the PPK...

I think that an old Walther PP would look awesome sitting next to my Walther P99...It would be a thing of beauty...

Really? Still too short? Ridiculous...Perhaps that's why I couldn't find any information on it.
Do you have any pictures of what it looked like rebarrelled?

I have a Hungarian Walam that is a PP clone, although a little bit longer. It was rebarrelled by Barry Jensen of Bits of Pieces in Delta, BC. His work is outstanding, and he's easy to talk to. Look up the Bits of Pieces website.

Walther PP in 22, the barrel is 2 mm longer than absolutely necessary:

The PP in .380 is a bit unpleasant since it's straight blowback. Much easier to re barrel than a .22...

That's a lot of great info - Thanks - too bad its 7mm too long still, but I'm still going to be keeping my eyes open for one....
Checking out 'Bits of Pieces' as we speak.

Definitely going to keep my eyes open for one -

It seems to look a little better than the restricted PPK - Good idea about the threaded extension...Its trivial 'Fed' issues like this that make me want to move to the 'States.
Don't suppose anyone has an idea where to grab one?
I've never seen one for sale in the exchange forum.
