Just wondering...

started out in August buying 1 $100 Bubba'd No4

Now I have 8, plus extra full food stock sets, which will FORCE me to buy more.

Does CFC put limits on how many long guns you can own?

I almost bought that green one from armco, thank goodness I'm not the only
addict....

Help

There is no cure for Enfield addiction, but there is a treatment that can help keep it under control. It's called the Martini Henry. Mind you it's kind of like trying to kick smoking by taking up drinking.

Yes , there is a 12 step program and your nearly there with 8 .
Along with the Martini , a Mosin , Mauser and a Garand will cure you.
...trust me...

Well you could start collecting Sniders as well.
Let me know when you get to 200 Enfields. AND I am porobably a small collector. One guy has 600. Look at the bright side, after you croak, it will take the relatives a couple of months to clean out the house!
"Whats going to happen to all those guns after you die?"
IT'S NOT MY PROBLEM:D

Well, I'm still trying to fully understand how to deal with one of the cure, called the "W.I.F.E.".

According to this program (The "Will I Find Enfields?"), every time a new Enfield comes into the house, it is welcomed with nagging, anger and threats of loosing television privileges.

Didn't work with me, the Mrs now comes to the range with me.

:)

Using Mosins as part of the cure is dangerous. They are cheaper and lead to an affliction called "Mosinitis". Garands and Mausers are nice and while they slow the Enfield addiction they don't cure it.

Well for the 12 step program you have 8 you need 4 more to end the program, you then start on the No1 Mk3s.:D :bangHead:

Only 4 more? thank goodness! there's a gun show this weekend I could be cured within days! Maybe if I sell the kids bikes, and ipods, my old jeep....

Storage is also becoming a problem. Has anyone tried converting their wife's closet into a gun locker? ya, ya, I think that would work nicely...

Mmmmm that is an ideal converting the walk in closet, and why not its really not being used much :D

I too, suggest a minimum of 12 rifles, although I am not actually quite there myself.

I tried using the wife as a cure, or at least a temporary treatment... She now owns two of her own.

There is no escape. It'll change, maybe your specific model of enfield will change, or maybe you'll switch to mosins or mausers, maybe lull for a little while, but you'll never get rid of it. It's like herpes in that respect.
