I wish those who insist on parroting how something "can't be done" would just shut up and get the hell out of the way if us that are actually *doing* it .... You aren't helping, you are slowing the rest of us down.

It's difficult to say what would happen if a .50 Beowulf pistol mag were to hit the market. I'm sure such an item would certainly make waves in the MSM and that would undoubtedly cause the Firearms Act to be re-examined. I suppose the question is who do you want in power and with what mandate when that happens? Better to happen on our terms than the antis. That said, people are putting the cart before the horse thinking this'll happen anytime soon.
For years those in the know discouraged talking about the similarity of the SwissArms rifles to the SIG550 because it was obvious that there would be trouble if the RCMP were forced to take a close look at them.
I suspect that the open rubbing it in their noses approach to getting higher capacity magazines into the country may result in forcing the government’s hand on the issue. I’m all for having them but posting videos and blabbing about it on the internet could just be making it easier for those that don’t want us to have them to have them taken away. If this does happen don’t be shocked if our pistol magazines are limited to 5 rounds.

Holy f**k this thread contains logic. I'm still adjusting to having more than one post per page make sense. If youre going to lay down and spread em, please don't do it in the path of those ready to fight for what youre giving away. "Give up all hope and just do what they tell you to do" sounds like scared POW's trying not to get senselessly killed, not a group of free men and women who have accomplished big goals together in the recent past. They are scared about guns and they think many of us don't have to own some kind of firearm

Interesting standpoint. So I can assume that those in this thread looking for a .50beo pistol have sent their letters in to support the thousands of Swiss Arms owners that could possibly be about to get burned? You know, stepping up and doing something instead of......
If you want one freedom such as .50Beo pistol mags it's up to you to defend the freedom of other firearms owners. Or perhaps those same owners won't help to defend you if the .50beo mags and owners get burned. Of course generally speaking here, and not just to the post I quoted.
So you took the time out of your day to #####...then told them you don't expect them to do anything for you and told them you're disgusted with them and their whole profession... Why not call back and ask for more gun bans? A much better approach is to convey the withholding of support funds until they start working for you, the voter. If someone called me at work to ##### about something, tell me they don't expect me to do anything about it and told me they're disgusted with my entire profession...well they would be the laughing stock of the coffee room for the day and the butt of many jokes for months to come.
I understand but if you don't take part in the charade then you can't expect them to pretend to listen to you. However, you can be sure that they listen to the other side that doesn't like our hobby. I have no idea whey they do but they do.
