Is there a black shotgun to fit my needs?

My 12.5 Grizz came threaded for chokes - it has the ghost ring sights though - they're pretty high, lot of sharp edges on the front. Nothing a dremel couldn't fix if you're motivated.

The website says they are all fixed cylinder bore now, which is a crying shame. Oh well. Epps says they will thread a bbl for $100. There might be some place cheaper, dunno.

I went with the bead sight because it's snag free and because I want to be able to put on a waterfowl barrel from time to time without having to unscrew the ghost ring assembly.

I thought those top folding stocks carried a integral shell holder. Has that changed?

I got to play with a BPS a few years back... really liked it. I thought they made a "tactical" variant, but can't seem to find it on their website.

Ok, just ordered the 12.5 grizzly with bead sight. Waiting for Black Friday to order the standard comp stock I will put on it. At some point will get a longer express bbl with chokes so it can back up my waterfowl gun.

Anyone know if I can convert a frizz to left hand safety by flipping the button like on a pre-87 Remington?

When I looked into it a couple of years ago there was an US company making left had cross-bolt safeties for 870's. Quick search shows a plastic version being offered. One I was looking for was steel.

Not sure if it is still available.

I have an Ithaca 37, I like it, but it's not short and it's not 3". There are also not very many accessories available. Sadly.

You might be thinking of the ATI top folder. This one is the Remington factory folder.
