Is there a need for more Cdn made AR parts?

Not yet, but I'll put up some pics when I do.

I haven't had time(poor excuse) to check on final costing and what I have left owing.

Too busy right now at work, so while I can't wait to see them, I couldn't do anything with them even if I did have them here.

Slap on an upper from work and give 'em a fitting whirl.

Wes, I bought a Swiss Arms. I know, blasphemy in this thread, but I wanted to clobber gophers and yotes.

Rick, I don't know how I managed to stay out of this thread for so long! So, you are about to start batch number 2? Or is that it? You are also doing complete rifles?

Man, I'm VERY interested. Stupid QC transfer times. I may order a couple very soon however.

I don't think we'll be running them again for awhile - the plan is to run one or *maybe* 2 batches a year depending on demand. We've got a lot of whizzy products coming down the pipe that we've been sitting on for quite awhile
and the AR lowers eat up a lot of time and energy that we'd like to use to introduce some new products first ;)

Yup what he said. Another run of AR lowers will be awhile off, probably later this year. As Rich mentions we have a lot of ideas, only so many machines and so much time and would like to get some of the new ideas into production.
Things like AR10 lowers so I have a complete AR10 instaed of just a nice upper:p
A chassis system to make AI envious.
As well as some other goodies that I have halucenated about while glueing up the carpet to the wall behind the gun rack.:p

Here are nearly finished pics. Nice and black, though it has a different surface that any AR upper or lower I have had, it's a much smoother, cleaner sort of look and feel...like brushed or something. Very nice.

At the moment I can't get my upper to fit on properly. :( If I close it I can see light through most of it, then a portion near the front is where there is too much contact so I can't get the takedown pin to engage. I have a feeling it is the upper (CMMG), I have an LMT on the way and will try that one.
