I read in some threads that RCMP request the antique firearm to be registered first, before they de-register it and issue the letter. If it is true, are they using a new form with the name and address printed on the letter like a registration certificate. The letters I have are all prior to 2010 with "RCMP GRC 6026 EF" at the right bottom which do not have any personal information. Anyone has letter being issued recently? Is it the same old look?
