Is there a non-restricted AR lower ?

Have any of you fellas actually fabbed one up? How hard is it to do?

I can't remember where I saw it but some company sells a machine that literally sits on your desk top and can CNC mill these things out! I think it only cost $1500.00 too!

And as far as that goes - I saw a documentary on the sweat shops of Pakistan where they were literally building AK47's by hand. The skills and muscle memory required to do it was mind boggling...

Alberta Tactical was doing a NR 'lower' to fit the DA50 but I imagine the whole point with them was that they will not fit an AR. If I recall they were not cheap either... like said above, search the DA50 threads (in the canadaammo section I think)

Atrs section. Single shot DA50 lower requiring permanent modification to the upper.

$750 for just the lower

It's really to bad that the Modern Varmint from ATRS can't be a little bit more competitive price. But i guess you pay out the nose for any non restricted AR type rifle. Plus Alberta tactical uses high grade parts and should be pretty accurate.
