Ah yes now it is clear, bullpup rifles are perfectly legal but a bullpup stock as an aftermarket accessory whoa that is just too crazy for a civilian to own.

My vote goes to Cx4, simply because I have one. Second-hand Cx4=850$ +long barrel 360$=1210$ For mortals it will cost more for there is special tool one will need to replace barrel. Still reasonably inexpesive (considering) and plain cheap to shoot. Easy cleaning as there is no gas system of any kind. Very good ergonomics. Cheap to shoot, I guess I've already said that.

Yup...if you want a .223, don't like the Tavor, the PE-90, or the SL-8, that only leaves you with two choices.

Mini-14 (not really a choice in my books)

Indeed you do. I saw them when I was in today picking up my new Eotech.

I hadn't budgeted for buying a 180B right now, so I'm going to have to spend the next day or two trying to decide if I can justify going over budget on my December "fun" expenditures.
