Is there a reason to own a discrete .38 Special if you already have a .357?

Indeed! I've owned it new since the 70's. I lost count of the tens of thousands of rounds shot with wadcutters.
It still shoots in the 10 ring and has the famous slick action of the classic K Frame.

My K38 came with an extra "Single Action Only " trigger.
Yes, you can still find them if you look around. I think most pass it by wanting something in stainless or .357 mag instead.

I have zero interest in stainless guns of any sort. I'm not sure why. They're perfectly serviceable. I just find them so ubiquitous.
