is there a review out there that compares all the sub-$1000 O/U against each other?

All manufactures put out a bad gun once in a while, some more than others. I have a Canuk OU trap gun made by Kahn arms in turkey and for $1200 the features and fit and finish can't be beat for this price. 5000 rounds over the last year and a half and not one problem. Yes it's not a browning or beretta, but it's close and i was not going to spend $3000 on a gun to start out and try my hand at clay sports. Ignore the name brand range snobs There are good guns out there that don't start with a B!!!!

Some of the best clays guns start with a K or a P.

I shoot a Citori and love it but I owned a Stoeger for more than a decade with no isssues. I shot many 1000's of rounds with it. My brother in law shoots it now. A friend of mine has a new Weatherby Orion turkish O/U and its decent for the money. He paid just over 1000 for it. They are a bit hard to find though.
