Is there any animal you wouldn't hunt ?

I am not super interested in the "Big 5" except for buff. Other than that, if it is legal and a HUNT, then I am interested. I am not interested in anything penned or fed from a feeder, and that includes baited bears. I do my hunting from the ground for the most part, and am satisfied in having at least partially outwitted the animal I am after (though by far the greatest portion is almost always luck).

My fondest hunting memories are of well placed difficult shots, long and tricky stalks, and plans that 'came together', and then there are the ones that got away... those are the stories I tell most often. A hunt needs to be a challenge, otherwise it is just shooting. You hunt deer, you shoot gophers.

For me, anything that looks human like, Monkeys, Gorillas etc. Maybe a samsquantch if I saw one...
Not sure if I could shoot a zebra, too much like a horse, yet I can shoot coyotes... weird.

I would not hesitate to pull the trigger on anything. However, it would have to be legal, something I would be able to eat. I would have to be in pretty dire straits to kill an animal for a trophy, that's me. I have no problem with predation, population control, or infestations. I would easily shoot rats, gophers, cats (feral), coyotes, wolves (only if bothering livestock), wild dogs, cougars that were a danger to man, bears that were bothering me. I don't believe that we should kill unless something is bothering us. With that in mind, I will shoot every dang crow, magpie, or whiskey jack that tears up my garbage or garden!!! LOL.

There are very very few legal game animals or birds that i wouldn't hunt, but there are a some, - giraffe, monkeys, songbirds in Italy or elsewhere, anything endangered, and a few just "because". Mostly I hunt everything with a clear conscience.

I'd shoot monkeys in a heartbeat. Especially baboons, they freak me out. Just no cats. Monkeys OK.

No.....unless its "actually" endangered.......theres lots of animals I WANT to hunt but probably never will due to $$$
