Is there any interest in Dutch mannlichers?

I saw an 1895 at Gagnon's today. Its the fist I have in person and have to admit I was impressed. Anybody collect 'em?

Being from a Dutch background I'm quite interested in one. How much? I don't see it on their website.

Its not on the web site for some reason. The price is $400 if I remember correctly. Decent but missmatched.

I would think there would be INTEREST, just no darned SUPPLY.

Ammunition is impossible to source these days........ but you CAN start with .303 casings and a set of dies.

The special Mannlicher Clip holds 5 rounds, is CURVED.... and rather scarce.

Same ammo and Clips fit the almost-identical (but even scarcer) Rumanian Mannlichers.

I have one, making the ammo was a snap. Just be sure to use Federal or IVI brass, and avoid Remington like the plague. Action is so smooth, they make the Lee, Krag, and Springfield feel like they are full of sand by comparison. They do shoot very high, though. Unless you only shoot at 300m. lol!
