Is there any mag capacity limit to 22lr semi autos?

Not yet, but when they can figure out how to make it less than one without seeming harsh then it will change.

Oh, 22lr pistol magazines are limited to 10.

Yup, rimfire handguns are restricted to 10 rounds.

Rifles and such do not have a mag capacity limit, unless you want to use the evil BX-25 Ruger mags. Those are prohib.

As are most over 10 round mags for the M&P15-22. IRG had some after market mags that were exempt.

Mossberg 715T and 702 Plinkster mag is now limited to 10 rounds since Mossberg in their wisdom brought out the pistol version of the 715.
Had to pin my original 25 rounder.

I was pretty sure there was no restrictions, just wanted to confirm it with some fellow gun nuts. I don't retain every fact ive heard over my life, you tend to forget things. Im so sorry that you had to use some of your very valuable time to come in here read the thread and then respond with a message that doesn't help at all. There's always got to be one like you on here.

What's wrong with a 597?
This is my bare bones $149 597 at 50yds using a $50 Bushnell banner on some peep through mounts and 100 rounds of Federal ammo to sight in the scope. First 10 shots narrowed it down until it was shooting right and high, after some adjustments and by the end of the next box it was just putting bullets through the pinky sized hole in the bullseye. 0 FTE or FTF.
I sold my 10/22 shortly after.
I'm not a fantastic marksman by any stretch of the imagination, but I didn't think this was terrible.

My 597 outshoots my 1022 anyday but the extended plastic mags don't feed so reliably. Stick to the factory 10 rounders just pick up a few extras. JMHO

Semi rifles have no limits, since they can only chamber one round. Mags are a different story.

I remember loading up 650rds of 22LR in belts and having people pissed off because at the time was no GSG 110mags at the time and wondering what was ripping these long blasts
