Is there any reason to get a 22lr bolt gun?

a long time ago when i got my first .22 Cooey bolt action for xmass i went small game hunting and got my first partridge ..i sold the mod. 39 and last year i found another Cooey mod.39 in mint condition [it brought back memories ] this year i will be 70 years and will never sell the Cooey ..

.. when you have a match grade 10/22?

I have a match grade trigger, barrel and receiver 10/22 derivative. I'm just wondering - if you had this rifle, would you have any reason to get a bolt action 22lr? I suppose the bolt action will be easier to clean and could possibly feed the stingers (although I've heard that you shouldn't feed stingers in some bolt actions), but are there other reasons?

I guess it depends how well you 10/22 shoots. With either my CZ452 Varmint or Savage heavy barrelled .22 I can shoot 15 shots in to 2 MOA at 100m if there is no wind. I don't think many semi autos will do that.

If it hasn't been said because your d%$k will fall off! Lol I do like a bolt over the semi as it feels like you are completing more steps per shot. Which you are, but extends the experience and you are more in tune with each shot.
I own a toz 99 semi that I can do carnival star shots with a 4x optic, but my old Cooey 60 with irons will do very close. Also reminds me of the first rifle my dad let me shoot.
