This is just for my curiosity. I was intruiged in the V-E thread when 91/30's were longer than they appeared in the hands of Russian re-enactors.
This is the only known picture of my Great Grandfather in battle. Is the gentlemen on the left holding a 91/30 or a carbine? I do believe it is a Mosin Nagant.
EDIT: This is relavent info: The picture is likely before 1944.
