Is this bad ?

I have a couple of bushnells that show the same problem. When you look though them with the boresighter and turn the power ring the cross hairs move on the grid. Also, there is a slight slipping on the power ring when this happens. Is the scope broken and should it be sent in or can I use it ?

What you are seeing is a shift in zero as power is changed. Its not uncommon, particularly in popularly priced scopes. If it is significant, you might want to avoid changing power once zeroed. You could contact Bushnell and see if anything could be done.
