Can't say for a Shadow but it was pretty easy on my Tactical Sport. I did need to remove a little material to get it to fit right.

Didn't we go through this on the last thread you posted about magwells?

The stock mags will not work anymore. The edges around the base of the stock mags will not let the mag go in far enough to seat if you use a well. You'd need to get new mag bases that are just straight blocks with no little "foot" at the base.

Yea but I watched a video where it took the guy 5 minutes to put it on, where as you said I would need a gunsmith for sure... It didnt seem more complicated than the recoil spring I replaced in it. Also they showed it with 19 round magazines which is where I got confused as to the 10rds working.

You'd either have to trim plastic basepad on 10rds mag or replace those with aluminum ones for flush fit. Added weight of alum pad will help to speed up mag changes. They are pricey thou.

If you remember that other thread I did say it was easy to do and then described how to remove the mainspring plug to allow it. You replied that you barely knew which end of a screwdriver to hold onto and that what I described and the page that I linked for you about stripping your gun were far too complex. If you've learned some tool skills and know your gun stripping down sequence since that thread then good on ya for diving in. And in that case you shouldn't need to ask about stuff like this. Especially after seeing the video. By know you should have a handle on if you know you can manage it or not.

In any event the stock magazines still won't fit. It doesn't matter if they are 10 or 19 round ones. They still have the base foot sticking out as CeeZer also mentioned.

And the magwell is truly a useless expense unless you're using it to compete in the IPSC Standard or Open classes. And it'll disqualify the gun for the Production class.
