Actually it's a friend who's reloading for me, maybe some fine tuning but shooting off a bipod lied down on the sand that's what I was able to do I should maybe try off a bench and good rest maybe I would be able to put 1/2 since I've done it once with the current setup.

I shoot better prone with a bipod than I do off of a bench. It's not a disadvantage.

That's great shooting IMO, I have a Savage 10 fcp-k also, I bedded the action and got much tighter groups out of it so you may want to try that. If you are getting reloaded ammo ask your guy to make you up some different charges at the same seating depth you are using now maybe 10 rounds of 5 different loads and try them at 200 yards, your rifle has a sweet spot and you will find it by trying different charges, just make sure you watch for pressure signs. Once you find one or two real good groups you can tweak the loads some more (if your guy doesn't mind) and really find the one your rifle will like. Keep up the good work and have fun, be safe.

If I may, what do you mean by bedding the action? I thought the FCP-K also had the aluminium bedding so what am I missing?
Yes I will ask him to make some tweaks I'm also looking for the RCBS Rock Choker reloading kit from what I heard it's a good start.

Last time went shooting I just looked at the theoretical drop to realize it's dropping much less. Once I realized that I noted on my phone the drop and MOW needed at 200 yards I was able to hit bullseye and 300 yards a bit to the left but still good elevation. Unfortunately I did not have enough ammo to make further grouping as I plan on go coyote hunting I believe it'll go down with this setup but I will definitely try tighter grouping at further range.

To be clear when I say shooting off a bench most people I've seen shooting at the range I use to go (don't know the name for this unit but you sit the gun in it and have screws everywhere so the gun don't move and you have the main screw bringing the gun up or down) Anyway that's what I have seen at the range most people were using this and I think it's good to reduce the human factor to see the accuracy but if comparing this with shooting off a bipod on the ground then I think there is a big difference.
 
It does have aluminum bedding yes, but being factory made the tolerances are not as tight as they could be, so by bedding the action you stiffen the area around the action and give it a true fitting bed to support it entirely with no high or low spots, it does help.

So you kept the allu bedding and bedded on top or removed it made a complete bedding?

I hate shooting from the bench. I have only shot from a bench twice, rest is prone with bipod and rear sand bag (no bunnyears). However I've started to shoot from different positions, kneeling with sandbag on a bench no rear support or sling to hit gongs at 300 yards. I've got a cuff sling ordered, awaiting my damn prs flushcup adapter then I'll try stAnding/sitting with sling only. Oh and old school prone, no bipod or rest sling only.
 
I had a fcp-sr back in the day and it did benefit from bedding. Tightened up groups quite a bit actually. Not enough to keep me from selling it though, lol !
 
So I took the comment into consideration and took time to leave the barrel cool a little bit between shots
This is 3rds and I was fine tunning my scope so this is where I was aiming.


Now that the rifle was pretty much hitting where I wanted I placed a new target this is 5rds

Let me know what you think, personnaly I see improvements!

What is your poa? If you say the white circle, I'll Internet slap you.
Aim small, miss small. Adjust your windage off target, and aim for the zero, in "10".

I guess I'm a newbie and will get slapped because I don't know the insight but I should probably try to shoot the 0s.
Still this is my target and coyote gun haha should be able to put this between the eyes, not my intention to do any competition for now although my friend pushes me to do F class shooting I believe it's called.
I was aiming middle of the circle and the one most in the center was the first shot.
For what's left I think I got excited did not leave as much cooling time between shots but still 3/4 inch and I'm doing this consistently.
I could probably do 1/2 by leaving 20-30 seconds between shots and taking time to aim carefully.

Cool pic. (I like the glow...) and you're shooting very well (nothing wrong with that #5 Rd, group), especially if you're new to the sport.

OK... I will consider myself " internet ##### slapped " as well but I learned something today. I'm usually just shooting for groups
