Just picked up my new guide gun. Is there supposed to be a dot above where the sling stud is??

Mark: I have three, a .375 .44 mag and .35 Rem. Bubba got to the .35 and the .44 and drilled out the bullseye to set a sling swivel stud. I had to repair them as best I could with accra glass. I hope you enjoy that guide gun.

take care, Darryl

It's the easy button. Push it and it turns into a Winchester. :D

for when you need a Jackhandle???

Slap some tru-oil or other coating on that stock. they're quite soft, I found out that hard way :(

It is amazing what you can find if you just take a look;) ;)

Copied from the marlin webpage:

Q) What is the small round black and white dot on the bottom of my Marlin stock?

A) This is the Marlin "Bullseye". This trademark has been used since 1922 on all Marlin walnut buttstocks. Please note that this is not a suitable place to install a swivel for you firearm. Swivels should be mounted approximately 2 inches from the toe of the butt.
