im not making a point just pointing to legislation .
instead of reading from a page that may have factual errors or hearsay .

these links are actual and current legislation this site also stores jurisprudence
judgments the actual site has almost if not all regulation and or laws ( witch are not the same btw) within Canada's territory

It's also why you can't take a firearm to just any commercial metal finishing shop any more. And that is a friggin' shame.

Odd, I can't find anything in any of the above which states I cannot work on someones gun for a few bucks (or beers) once in a while. See bold type above...
