Is this model 98 worth more than a couple hundred?

Just acquired this mod 98 in 7.62 and don't know much about these rifles so any info would be appreciated! Also wondering what its aprox value might be?

Looks respectable. I'd estimate up to $350.
You don't mention bore condition.

Dealers are asking for between $500 and $650 for these right now, so if you did less than $500 you did okay.

WW2 German production refurbished, rebarrelled and restocked by Israel. Less common manufacturer code, seems to be in decent shape. These days $500-$600 is a fair price. Some of these are great shooters. Values on just about any K98 have been going up steadily especially in the last twenty years.

Yes, $450 - $500, maybe more if it was in a bit better condition. Bolt matches receiver, that's good.

Cleaner than most Israelis. Depending on the bore, I could see $500 quite easily. It all depends on the buyer though.

That's actually a very nice one! These are very popular right now, $500 no problem in my opinion, possibly more.
