The 7.65mm is NOT automatically classified as "Prohibited". I have brought in a number of 7.65mm handguns for people and they are classified "Restricted" as long as the barrel is over 105mm.
Just got approval for another importation... this time a 1929 Swiss Luger in 7.65 that was manufactured with a 120mm barrel. As far as the FRT is concerned 7.65mm is NOT the same as .32 caliber and therefore NOT classified as "Prohib" based on caliber.
