Is this side mounting hole off-center?

Hello CGNers! I just bought a steel Sadlak Mount to put on my 2009 M305. But I'm not sure about the side screw hole, do you think its off center? When I look on Sadlak installation diagram, well, it is not center....

Do you think I won't be able to install the mount?

That's a warranty return right there. That scope mount location is way out of spec

Both the tapped hole and the slot above it look off-center, everybody should check their Poly rifles for this issue.

Wow, I just bought a poly m305, seeing this post I had to run down and check the scope mount on mine!!!

This stuff is great for a guy ABOUT to buy his first M14 (I know I need 2x but one at a time). I have started a folder of items to visually inspect before purchasing the rifle. Of course, I need to get my hands on the rifle to do the inspection, but one could ask an internet seller to provide a few specific pictures to verify the important stuff.
