Those aks are ugly but

Can you imagine the time to do that to them? The one in the foreground looks fully engraved including the stock. If that engaving was not CNC then it probably took a month to do. Somebody talented worked on that gun even if it is ugly.

I always wanted to shoot gold core bullets instead of lead core. Think of what wonderful ballistics you could get if the core of a bullet was twice as heavy. So far I have not met anyone who wants to sponsor the trials. Or you could alloy it pretty hard and make solids.

What is that stock made of? though the gold plating and the rooster are just gaudy, that stock is on a whole different level of ugly.
