Look at this monstrosity from mossberg:

Its the 817 Thumbhole tipdown bolt action with muzzle break... wtf?

That stock looks ridiculous and does one really need a massive muzzle break on any rimfire?

I would laugh if I saw one. I can't imagine who it would appeal to. The stock might have some functionality, but that brake is ludicrous.

wtf is wrong with Mossberg? Seriosuly, they need to go back to making good cheap shotguns and stop performing abortion after abortion. Who is running this s**t train? They need to quit their day job and find more useful employment. Maybe a toy designer?

Mossberg never made a good shotgun either, dont kid yourself, they did make some shotguns that if you ever took hunting you threw out the window into a slough on the way home though. short answer to the original poster question is "yes" this is the ugliest 17 ever.

i have to agree with all of the above! the sad thing is i ALMOST bought one of these (minus the super retarded muzzle break)! At first when i seen it, i didnt realize the stock "tipped down". But still, its really ugly! and why does the stock tip down? i mean, who in the hell would use it as a handle? and the muzzle break, you cant even describe how totally over the top stupid it is! the whole design of the rifle is a total abortion IMO!

what a disgrace to mossberg, and all gun designers in general! YIKES!

They definitely have a "throw it against the wall and see if it sticks" motto for the R and D department. They sure seem desperate to cash in on the tacticool train. The latest is a bolt action varmint rifle that feeds from AR mags. Another "innovation" nobody asked for. It was funny watching Tom Gresham twice trying to put the bolt in on his TV show. I think Savage has lost the ugly rifle title.

spaghetti again

where is that tactical double barrel?

Mossberg like to redefine Stupid... and always brings it to a new level.
I am not talking about the Business here, I am talking about the customers of this particular business.

Give people what they want !

Thumbs Up Mossberg you did it again :)
