Is This the End of The Ruger Red Label

I would really love to see a pic of that Shotgun without the shag carpet and Moose medallion.

What is a new Red Label priced at? Does anyone have one with lots of rounds
through it? Just wondering how they hold up.

:confused:What do you use for a background in your pictures? Or, what alternative are you offering? Oh;), Trivet you mean.

I just thought she was cute. And She Wasn't lying on a shag carpet waiting for a Moose
madallion to attack her.

Here's one of my of my sidelock English SxS. Same carpet but this one's about to be attacked by a Goose.

The gun case under the sidelock......let me know if you have a spare one like that for sale.

Thanks,

:)I wish. Quite q while back I was looking for a decent case I could use for transporting that little English double, say on hunting trips, but I wanted something that 'looked right'. I picked it up at a local gun show about four years ago and it was one of two, but I wasn't quick enough to pick up the second.

I'll give you a shout if I see another.

I would very much appreciate that.....the overall design is quite slim and compact despite the aprox 4in height.....I do have one in tanned leather but its present condition leaves much to be desired. Nonetheless, I absolutely love the style.

I'll keep my eyes peeled. January to April there's four gun shows in the surrounding area:).

Much obliged. I hope that you do come across one in a condition similar to yours. :)

Was thinking about it when I was out on my bike ride today, so when I got home, I checked out my case, looking for a label or I.D. marking of some sort. Nada. It's possible that it may have been the creation of some local leather working vintage shotgun enthusiast. I'll inquire at the upcoming shows.

I have a friend locally that's into cowboy action style shooting and also quite a leather worker and holster maker. He's made a few for me and he may know so I'll ask him when I see him at the next show on the 8th.

That gif doesn't really belong in this thread. I believe he was referring to the over under not a side by side model. Just don't tell me that's being discontinued! :D:D:D

I'm pleased to see that gif in any thread and while I've seen her put on those jeans many times before, it's always a pleasure to watch once again.
