What if anything is this worth?

"Jimmy" is Mercury messenger of the Gods. Worn on cap badge of Joint Signals Regiment.
My son's a Sig Ops with that Regiment. PM sent with some additional info.

Maybe nobody else cares but "Jimmy" will be going Home for Christmas to CFB Kingston.
Thanks to desporterizer for helping make this happen.

My son is in JSR and will be getting Jimmy as a Christmas present. (hasn't seen it yet) He hasn't decided whether he will keep him or donate to the Regiment. Son lives in PMQ's so either way Jimmy will be back at CFB Kingston (where I assume he came from). I think it's cool and it has certainly helped to make my Christmas.

Good work!

Thanks for the information. I thought it might be older. I'll pass on this info to my son. Still a neat piece of kit for a soldier serving in the Signals Regiment.

Another ashtray.
Mine isn't anywhere as fancy but its sterling silver and engraved
"Sergeant's Mess 1st Regiment RHA on the rim with the regimental crest in the centre.;)

Also have one made from the base of an 18pdr. dated 1911
