Yeah, that doesn't make sense but the barrel looks very short and it's listed at only 4", which is below the 106mm required.

They have a US web site also . It was probably put on the Canadian site by mistake . Good luck trying to order one :D

Is anyone going to try? If I had the spare coin... Is in not Cabela's that is both in Canada and the USA? I thought Wholesale sports was just Canadian? Nope, just checked, my mistake. Canada and USA too.

Wholesales bought Sportmans Warehouse in the US. Lots of them have patched over to Wholesales.

UFA (United Farmers of Alberta) bought out Wholesale Sports and Sportsman's Warehouse a couple of years ago. They also bought out Russell's and integrated it into the Wholesale Sports in Calgary. I am a member of UFA so, I guess that makes me a part owner.;)

when it comes to guns, wsl simply parrots whatever the manufacturer's ad, without even checking for spelling mistakes or Things that don't even make sense- you'll see wrong calibers( like 7.62x49) for an sks, and all kinds of things- even wrong pictures- and, if you tell them, they even have a clause in there that says the item "may not be EXACTLY AS SHOWN"- that's HOW they get away with it

I can understand typos and wrong pictures and all that.

The thing is, they sell a gun that is known to have a 4" barrel, and they advertise it as a gun that have a 4" barrel.

So 2 things are possible here:

1- Somehow, this model "slipped" (for a lack of a better word) in Canada and everyone assumed it was OK to import it, including the CFO. They now have in stock a gun that is illegal but no one noticed.

Or

2- They don't really sell the gun, even though they now have the SS version listed as well:

Yep, I called them about the price on a Buckmark (can't remember the model) last spring, I couldn't believe the price & I wanted to confirm it with a person before I purchased it over the net, so I called and it was a typo. But it was their attitude that was so frustrating. They didn't care at all and hadn't fixed the typo by the end of Sept. Now there's a dealer who really goes all out to achieve customer satisfaction.

Having tried to order a handgun from WSS in the past, I can tell you that even if you do order one, it either won't be in stock (pretty much forever), or the store that is supposed to have it can't find it. Either way, the odds of you actually receiving a prohib handgun from them are pretty much nil.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Nothing is ever in stock.
P.S. I tried ordering that 4" last year and it wasn't in stock ;)

i must live under a "lucky" star- every time i've ordered something from wsl, it's been IN STOCK- that's 2 redhawks and a blackhawk convertible- but those pieces are also dead common and SHOULD BE part of every gunshop's stock in trade- like 10/22s

I think the real answer here is , who gives a #### ? If the CFO is allowing them to sell them , and its really 4 inches and they have it listed as restricted and its listed as restricted on your registration , then its their own damn fault . no sense in bickering over something so stupid.

I called Wholesale today looking to order a different gun . They had one in stock at there Edm store . OK can I call the Edm store & order it ? "Nope . It has to be shipped from Calgary ." OK how long to process order & ship ? " It will take 15 days to have the gun brought to Calgary then we will start transfer & ship when approved and since it is a restricted firearm it HAS to go priority post & you will get it in 2 days cost $ 55.00 shipping. "
WTF ?
I said thanks I will let you know (LMAO)
