UFA owns Wholesale Sports? I did not know that. I guess I'm part owner as well. Does that mean I'll get a rebate, if I buy a whole bunch of guns from them?
I ordered a restricted firearm from them a few years ago. I finally gave up, and bought something else, off the shelf. I got the distinct feeling they don't actually do special orders. They just wait for regular inventory to show up, and count on people to keep coming in to check the status of their order. They didn't seem to have any tracking system, order number, or customer info. Considering the fact you have to take a number to talk to a sales person, I doubt they give a rat's about some guy trying to special order something.
The only reason I go to WS is to price check, and lately, they aren't even close to the best deal out there.

4 times I have ordered a gun from wholesale sports, 4 times "we have it at the Calgary store, we will order it in and call you in 2-3 weeks". 4 times I got no call after 3 weeks, So I call them. 4 times I heard "may take a few extra days" 4 times I never got a call back. Once I did go in to the store 3 months after my order and saw the gun I ordered sitting on the shelf. I asked the gun manager WTF was going on, and he said "well... here it is, so buy it if you want it" I told him I already bought that gun and the other 3 at Cabela's, the same place I will buy all my new guns in the future. I have bought 11 new guns since then.
