Got mine in the mail and installed, never had any issues but it I thought I'd give it a go anyways since it cuts out two screws from the take down process. Heres a quick video of the installation:

Get your upgrade kit from the contact info below. They shipped it to me for free, and also included some of the hex screws I stripped as well which was nice of them! :)

Email: stefan.meier@issc.at

Seems like people have been getting good results from this thread: http://fnforum.net/forums/f53/issc-mk22-supressors-scopes-acessories-etc-25613-86.html

Seems like it puts constant pressure on the bolt carrier group with the addition of the new spring and metal tubbing piece.
A problem with the last design is screws holding the bcg would come loose and cause light strikes.

Mind telling how much the kit cost? I havent had any issues with mine but Im thinking getting this kit would be a good idea.

Oh yea, I guess I should of mentioned that. Free, and they cover shipping too! Mine only took about a week to arrive.

Thanks for sharing!

How did you learn about this kit?

I appear to be a lucky one and my ISSC MK22 runs great as is, but it looks like it will make cleaning a little nicer with this upgrade installed.

Just bought a ISSC Mk22 from Canada Ammo. Quality control date March 2013. It has the upgrade kit already installed.

Ive only been able to take mine out once since I put the kit in, ran flawlessly. The kit completely removed light strikes for me.

My Anschutz version of this rifle (MSR Blackhawk) runs very well and it came with the kit already installed. No complaint..never had one light strike.

Ahhh..but its off to a new home soon. :(

Hey op...one cheap upgrade you may consider..is to replace those two screws on the side of the receiver( those two that you have to remove both sides of the screw)..with hk pins. Makes dis-assembly a lot faster.

I sent a request for a kit to Stefan in early November nothing yet. Can someone tell me who and where he is, by his email I assume he is with ICCS - Austria?? Dealer has never heard of him and not be aware of such kit. The gun causes me to suffer from lthe effects of light strikes. Any advice out there?

Any chance you have the part number for those HK pins and where you sourced them? Thanks, Appreciated.

I ordered from these guys: h ttp://www.robertrtg.com/g3pushpins.html

Give them a call and talk to them. Shipping to Canada was about $4.50 for 4 pins. I paid by credit card and had the pins within a couple of weeks. No hassles at all.

Just emailed ISSC for the upgrade kit.

Well as theses days,Robertrtg dont ship anymore to Canada,i have to agree they were good i ordered a G3 handguard last year and it was a perfect deal.

As for the upgrade kit for me it doesnt to a thing, but i did figure that my Fire pin when push was not flush with bolt head,it was going farther than the bolt face, hence the light strike remove by filling around 1/64 but i didnt test it yet. Also like a member here did i have made to spacers for the back spring.

And i was looking at fix on the internet to find out that this bolt assembly is the same as the GSG-5,i did cut 3 coils of the returning fire pin spring. And i did put a washer for the hammer, still un-tested yet but i think the light strike will gone now.

Will see !

A bump for this thread.

Ordered the kit by sending an email to the ISSC address in the first post. Got a reply two days later that the kit was shipped and the package arrived Friday. For the cost of an email, this upgrade is a no brainer!
