iSnipe v2.0 - Shameless Plug

I can't tell you guys how much your compliments mean (all of you)... It's what keeps me striving to make a better App. Thanks so much.

nooooo... I would never do that to you guys. It will be a free update to v3.0 and you can choose to add the Coriolis/Spin Drift feature for $0.99 if you'd like... or not if you don't.

There are lots of new features included in v3.0 as well as a new, more-contrasted theme that makes it easier to see in direct sunlight... but maintains the style we've all become accustomed to =)

I did the "added $0.99" thing as it's been a highly requested feature from long-range shooters, but I didn't want to make all new users pay for it if they weren't going to use it.

As mentioned above, I'll be adding updated videos to the website in the next week or so to show off the new features and how they work.

A good app that gets better and better, i dont shoot near enough distances to need a coriolsis feature but ill get just cause its a cool thing to have

I hear ya Canuck... As dent mentioned, I wish it were half as easy to program for the Blackberry =)

I may still go that direction, but nothing is in the works at the moment.

bcode, Thank you for Isnipe! I have tried this for a while now and even though I have bulletflight, Ballistic fte, and a few others on my phone 3g I still only use yours. Best one out there in my mind. Only played out to 1025 yards so far but it works for me! Will be downloading the update as soon as its avalible. Thanks again for a great product!:D

Alright guys/girls, iSnipe 3.0 is now finished and about to be submitted to Apple for review. This process usually takes about 7 days (but can be quicker), at which time I will be increasing the price of iSnipe to $8.99 with an optional $0.99 In-App Purchase for the Coriolis/Spin Drift upgrade, bringing the total price to $9.99 for all possible features.

If you purchase iSnipe sometime in the next few days, before 3.0 goes live, you will only pay $5.99 and will get the new update for free... add the optional $0.99 In-App purchase that will be introduced in v3.0 and that brings the total to $6.99 (a saving of $3 for those of us who can't count :p )

Long story short, if you're interested in iSnipe for your iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad, get it now or forever pay more =)

P.S. Bryan Litz's bullets are included in iSnipe v3.0 - we too hide the value of his B.C.'s in order to encourage shooters to read his book... it's worth every minute.

Still no sign of it:(:(:(

The new version is still in review... could be another week before it's available for download. Rest assured I'll post again once it's officially online.

bcode,
I read the thread all the way through. Wonderful work. Almost makes me want to run out and buy an iphone just to use your app.

Something that lots of folks don't realize is the other half of the reasons someone has an iphone or a blackberry.

I am part of the exec team of a publicly traded company. We struggle with the 20 something lads in our engineering department who use electronic gadgets as entertainment devices. Not a week goes by where someone would like an iphone or ipad or i something or another. The problem goes back to the microsoft based systems with servers and compatible hardware and software. By default, most companies go to blackberry because of the cost and simplicity of seamlessly integrating it into a Microsoft based system. I have a Dell on the server at work and a Mac for home use. I have a blackberry because that is company standard.

The talk of 50 million blackberrys and 40 million iphones. I think the difference is that 39.9 million of the iphones were personal purchases and 49.9 million of the blackberrys were corporate purchases.

Personally, I would love to see a blackberry app of this as my corporate ball and chain will keep me there for years to come.

Thanks!

Thanks Joe!

It's actually up over 120 million iPhones, iPads and iPod touches now - which certainly makes it an attractive market - but you make a good point about corporate "choice" or the lack there of.

Though, now that iOS devices are shipping with Microsoft Exchange support, we're seeing many more corporate users demand their iOS devices be usable on the network.

That being said, there will certainly always be a market for Blackberries in the corporate and personal sectors. Should I ever be in a position to create a Blackberry version, I will definitely do so. Unfortunately this is not something I foresee happening in the immediate future.

i know im diggin up an old thread but i just got this app haha

so in the list of "factory ammuntion" i take it those are preloaded store bought rounds not just the projectile.. correct?

Had it for a while and like it -- unless the price has gone up radically, I heartily recommend it. What source did you use for the ballistics calculations?
