By the way, anyone know of the next best thing for balistics calculators for us non-iphone owners?

I have not found any decent (portable) ballistic software for anything other than the Ipod/Iphone/Ipad trilogy.

Keep in mind that you can pick up an old Ipod on ebay for a good price and it will run the software, thats what i did as I am forced to use a BB at work and so had no use for an Iphone, as apple comes out with newer and newer toys, the price for the old stuff gets lower and lower....

There is actually a good program for android based phones.

ht tp://sean.kndy.net/shooter/

Haven't tried it yet but it looks very promising. The author also offers the bluetooth app that allows your Kestrel wind meter to instantly update your parameters.

Is it any good?
We use only the finest drag coefficients, dew picked and flown from Iraq, emptied, steamed, flavoured with integral calculus, whipped into a fondue, and garnished with lark's vomit.
Other than that is is well worth the $8.99. Especially if you have a BlackBerry or a Nokia to run it on. The BlackBerry app store actually has a positive review .
I have gone blind testing every Nokia phone in the world today, it works on 320x240, 240x320, 208x208 and 360x640, 800x352. Other sizes would be usable if you were stuck. It seems to work on all the BlackBerries, I haven't listened to any complaints.

Nokia partnered with M_cro$oft today, it is in Revelations, near the back.
LOL! Do you lightly kill the drag coefficients? :)
I club them with a baseball bat, then dip them in the sesame seeds, serves the slippery b_ggers right!

Actually it really is all about the drag coefficients.
