Why is there a greenish finish on Israeli K98s? I recently got one and from the pictures I have seen online a lot of them have this. Does any one know why?
I believe it is mostly due to the chemicals used in the parkerizing process the Israeli's used. Some one more familiar with parkerizing will probably have a more detailed explanation or you can just google it.
