Never heard of an Israeli Mauser in model 95. They had millions of 98's to choose from.
Israelis had some they converted, some that were left original, some have subtle upgrades like trigger guards and etc
I have 2 and they are not converted the same way 100%
are you sure its Israeli ? the Spanish did one in the 50's but it was for a lower pressure cartridge.

I have seen photos of Ludwig Loewe manufactured M 95 rifles with a six point star marking on the stock immediately below the forward receiver area in conjunction with the rifles serial number stamped into the stock in the same area. I wonder if this may have someone believing this rifle was in Israeli hands?
