Hi All
Postie just delivered my VZ24 Israeli 7.62, unfortunately sporterized by a previous owner

edit update

seems from internet searching it might actualy be a VZ98N

So it appears to have a k98 'type' stock and bent bolt handle, israeli star markings, it is a brno with partical crest worn down by the 7.62 barrel marking, which has israeli markings/stamps, but no year stamped on it

now i have placed it next to my 8mm vz24 and it seems the same length and that standard vz24 front end parts would fit

anyone know who sells parts to de-convert my sporter

one final thing

it has what appears to be a unit marking on the stock that looks like a letter Z, in adddition to an understock 7.62 stamp

anyone know what the Z marking means ?

it looks a bit like the symbol used for ' shtumer alef ' but not quite the same

thanks in advance for any help

cheers J
