Well, after a false start when I second guessed myself on the legality of cutting a barrel, I got it trimmed down. Looks way better! Barrel measures a bit over 108mm.

I didn't take any pictures during the process. Sorry.

I haven't shot it yet. I received the pistol this week, only had 30 shots through it before I hacked the barrel off. I'll put some rounds through it tonight to find out if I destroyed it. ;)

Kodiak, I could possibly do more but I'll have to come up with an easier way to dial the barrels in true. I cut it on a CNC lathe with soft jaws cut for the barrel. My total run out was .002", good enough my gun but I wouldn't charge money for that.

I like this look alot better then the comp one. So if you did this I might consider buying one from Kodiak Outpost, why didn't you get the short models into canada the first time?

We can only import what's available to us. The 5.5" was available, so we brought some in. I'm sure some prefer the longer barrel, some prefer the short. The good news is that we were able to offer these guns to customers at a price way below what other importers have been charging.

Well that didn't last long. Sending my pistol back for service.

Seems the pin that holds the "bolt group" into the slide is either missing or broken. Due to the low round count, I'm inclined to believe it was never installed.
