Good day all,

I am interested in buying the issc m22. i have done some research via online and youtube. does anyone have an issc m22 and could you please share your thoughts.

I do have a browing buckmark 22lr and a beretta 71 22lr. The browning is my target pistol and the beretta is just a fun pistol to shoot. I am looking for a modern 22lr to plink targets and have some fun with it.

Thus far, i like the size of the pistol and the way it fits in my hands. Any thoughts on reliability, jams, etc would be greatly appreciated.

I had one, was a good pistol. Fairly accurate and preferred the minimags. I did have am issue with it that I needed to send it in for repair but north sylva took care of it for me. The retention screw for the rear sight backed out then got smashed by the hammer. Some folks had issues with the front sight falling off, it can be fixed with a bit of glue but I never had that issue.

Fits and compares closely to a glock in size, also there is an integrated trigger lock which is nice.
 
Had mine about a year now, enjoying it a lot, no issues so far. Got it at a great price also. Will have to look forget what ammo I used that mine really likes
 
mine eats Blasers and CCI's perfectly . Accuracey is surprisingly good,I have the short version with the threaded barrel.incredibly easy to strip and clean,pisses off my friends with Rugers to no end. Super fun gun
 
Well I've had mine for over a year and I went through a world of pain when I first got it. The front sight fell off the very first time that I shot it. It constantly stove piped and failed to properly eject. Then the whole thing started to bind when field stripping it. It simply jammed to the extent I couldn't move the slide. The recoil spring was gouging the barrel. Believe it or not, to a certain extent, it was my fault. I switched to Yellow Jacket 22lr ammo with no problems whatsoever. The other issues couldn't be cured by me. I sent it to North Sylva and they fixed everything. First of all, the newer models come in a better case with a PROPER manual. Nowhere in the old manual (a couple of sheets of paper) was there a proper description for field stripping. When you remove the recoil spring, you MUST but it back on the same way as when you removed it. The spring is ever so slightly tapered at one end, which I didn't notice at first. If you put it back on improperly it will gouge your barrel and eventually jam the slide. When I finally got it back from North Sylva, it was a perfect shooter. They removed all of the gouge marks on the barrel. I had fixed the front sight issue myself by using a drop of crazy glue. I highly recommend the ISSC M22 pistol to everyone.
 
A close buddy of mine bought one and he could not wait to get rid of it. It did not work well for him no matter what kind of ammo he used.
