I'm just dropping in here because I finally took the plunge on getting one of these.

I am sure many are like me and wanted one as soon as they saw it and were scared off by the horror stories.

I have one from the recent north pro shipment and these are my findings so far.

I put it together. Never cleaned it or inspected it in any great detail. I have run several mags of cci mini mags through it.

Results. Well it hasn't missed a beat. I love it. My son loves it. Its a winner.

It feels like an ar and is a great rifle so far.

Just thought I would throw this up for anyone considering one.

Its the only 22 I've been interested in.
My understanding is that you want one with a date after March 2013. Still haven't taken the plunge though. Thanks for the update

It's great little pistol, I have fired 2000 rounds of blazer, never jammed or miss fired beside my slide release start to act funny. I can't fully press it to disengage the slide, well it's still working by simply pull the slide, press the slide release and release the slide itself, work that way for the last 1000 rounds. I only clean it per 1000 rounds, lead build is quite noticeable between 1000 rounds.

The only difference with the newer ones(March 2013 and on) is that they come with the fix/mod already installed. ISSC will send you the mod for free for older versions. The mod is quick and easy to install.

Oh KND,,, I think the op is talking about the 22 rifle...

Right on. Talking about the rifle.

I searched a lot and never found much about these rifles recently.

I know from older posts that lots of people wanted one but their early versions dampened the enthusiasm.

The one I have is great.

The only downside is the pistol grip cannot be changed and with its layout the safety and mag release are hard to reach.

Therefore it is not a perfect rifle but its a load of fun

Oh ! shot, Thanks. I see.

For the rifle, I'm waiting the one from Germany, made by ANSCHÜTZ.

I love mine. Im not having any issues with it except for the odd feeding issue when the magazines get really dirty. At first when it was breaking in I would have a few failures but recently I put over 1000 rounds through it and not a single issue besides the aforementioned magazines. Love mine and definitely wouldnt part with it.

I had one if those but sold it last fall to another cgner....fun gun and very accurate..n the newer anschutz rifle comes with a flash surpressor/threaded barrel if im not mistaken

Mine has a flash suppressor. Will probably change out the sights. They are a bit different than my ar's

How does one determine the manufacturing date? After a certain serial number?

Thanks
Moe

The best thing to do is remove the folding stock and see the internals. If there are 2 screws holding the bcg in at 90degrees from each other then it's the older version. The newer kit has replaced that with a single bolt and spring.

If you find yourself with an older unit, just contact ISSC and they'll send you the replacement parts free of charge. If anyone needs the contact info, let me know and I'll dig it up.

Just got one and am I impressed put 400rounds through it in 2 days and only 1feed issue on first mag but after flawless so far so good

Just wondering if anyone has seen an aftermarket rear stock for this gun?
Id like to see what a old nordic wire coplasable stock or wire mp5 stock would look like?
Thanks for your help!
