Issc mk ii

As others have suggested, look up the various fixes for the MK22, especially if you have a first-gen one. Your problem is likely mechanical rather than ammo related.

I haven't had any ammo problems since I fixed the mechanical problems. I shoot the bulk Blazer all the time with no issues.

I've got two of these & have found they require the highest velocity ammo. I'm not at home right now but will post the brand.
Kind of a heavy spring in these rifles
I don't know if it's relevant but there is a free upgrade from the manufacturer. Mine are in the mail, just email them

Took mine out for the first time tonight, ran 3 boxes of (50 each) high velocity stingers through it,then 100 rounds of bulk standard velocity stingers just to break everything in and get it moving. then went right to bulk blazers. had maybe 3 FTF the whole night and 2 of them were stingers with good pin strikes- not the guns fault.
gun was extremely accurate, ton of fun to shoot. With the high velocity hollow point there was acutally a small muzzle flash ,great fun

These rifles are plagued with the same issues the 715T is. They are really hit or miss. I know someone who has one, but doesn't have the fix yet (you shouldn't need to get an aftermarket fix for a rifle), and wants to get rid of it. He's the same guy with the 715T that only like CCI Mini Mag. Any other ammo and his semi becomes bolt action.

Sounds like your "friend" has had some pretty bad luck . I agree that the ISSC should never have been released for sale until the problem was fixed.
BUT Ive yet to hear about anyone complaining about how the rifle does with the "fix" installed.

Can anyone give me and idea as to the kind of ammo the ISSC likes. I have tried blazer and they seem to jam up every couple of rounds.

Mine loves stingers , I've also installed an upgrade kit & no problems yet . I would give them a shot , they have a little more recoil then any other 22lr round (that I know of) . It makes them a little more fun to shoot , not sure if the extra punch helps with the cycling or not .

Plastic plastic plastic!!! If the new rifle you buy is 75% plastic from the factory chances are it's gonna be a lime!! Or is that lemon!! Damn lead poisoning!!!
