Are these in fact the same?
As I understand it, the ISSC is Austrian but made in Germany, presumably by GSG. They look much the same apart from the stock. Has anyone compared them side by side in appearance, trigger, accuracy etc?
I saw somewhere the ISSC has a Walther barrel, which was encouraging as I put one on an airgun and it has been very good.

I am also curious. I looked up the exploded diagram of the gsg 15 & it looks identical to my ISSC MK22 internally... if the internet can be trusted.

The ISCC MK22 is made in Austria by ISSC GmbH. The GSG 15 is made in Germany by German Sport Guns (GSG) GmbH. The fact that both look so similar internally is hardly surprising because both are a typical blowback design.

From my understanding these guns are identical except for the stocks. Mags are the same and everything in front of the folding stock looks the same side by side. GSG makes several of their guns under license and the believe that's how the ISSC /GSG came to be. The GSG15 looks a lot like an AR15 and also a CZ805

The ISSC is made in Germany, hence the question.

Interestingly, the ISCC website says that they started producing the MK22 in 2010. My understanding was that they had manufacturing facilities in Austria. However, I just looked at a video and the markings on the gun indeed say "Made in Germany for ISCC". However, I checked the GSG website and there is no mentioning there at all that the MK22 is manufactured by GSG.
Stand corrected though the MK22 it is indeed made in Germany (somewhere).

My assumption is that it is made under contract by GSG and they are basically the same thing but unable to find any official reference to that.
Wondering as it would level the reviews somewhat and if one really does have a Walther barrel then I guess the other one would too.

I can pull my tan GSG-15 apart if you need comparision shots... or you can send me pictures that you have with specific angles to identify if they are the same. I'll take similar angle shots and we can all compare. Send PM for email :)

Tharkhold & I did an a/b comparison via email, & assuming all the materials used in construction are the same, these rifles are identical internally.

As some have referenced, GSG are a white label manufacturer for other companies. Sometimes the models are the same across brands, other times they make changes as desired by the name company.

I'm very interested to know if I can use gag-15 mags in my ISSC mk22?

It's currently back at North Sylva for warranty work. Was having FTE and light strike issues.

Same gun different stock. Same mags and accessory rails

I also have a Swiss Arms .22 which is a GSG 1911 made fire distributor blue line solutions.
