ISSC MK22 ver 2?

I am looking at some MK22s and wondering what are the differences with the older model and the newer version2. Also how would you tell which version the rifle is?
 
They did come out with a second version, a complete new run of them, with some feeding issues, and other issues fixed. The feeding issue was the major fix in Ver 2. Wanstalls has the Ver2, just the black for now, Ver2 tan units on the way !!!!

There is no Version 2 .. A sales clerks uninformed wet dream ...

This gun was fine out of the box .. They had a serious problem with assembly ( a short bolt , and a lack of. Some blue locktite in a critical place ) the resulted in a great unit till about 250 rounds went through it and then the problem was a light primer strike , or if the unsuspecting shooter continued to fire through the FTF's the angle block was deformed and that resulted in some serious repairs ...

These errors were certainly unacceptable and ISSC should be ashamed for the lack of control .. Newer units had the problems fixed prior to shipping .. My unit
Shipped May 2012 was great out of the box .. Has the longer bolt and had a lock washer installed ..

Some mouthpiece with Anschutz at a gun show tried to distance the new RX-22 from the the MX-22 ( Anschutz is one of the three companies that urn the design ) and claimed in a YouTube vid that the RX was assembled in Germany where the MX was assembled in China using cheap Chinese parts . This was just not true ,and a review of the RX manual on the Anschutz site proved the difference .. same gun, same , parts, just a different trigger and barrel.

ISSC has sent factory tec's to both Canada and the US to repair all the units sent in for repair and the changes have been made to the newer units .. There is no version 2

Great unit .. Like ALL rimfire semi autos you will get the odd FTF .. Rimfire is an 1800's designed round and is perfect for today's use , but not all rimefire is made the same .. If you do not want FTF or want fewer FTF, buy CCI mini-mag..

Time this great little SCAR replica got a break in the press .. And Version 2 rumors are just wrong ....

I purchased One last week and the box states the firearm was manufactured and tested in June 2012. Took it to the range yesterday and fired 20 rounds each of Federal, Winchester Bulk and CCI Stinger without a hickup. Reloaded and went through the same procedure, this time firing fast as I could and again no hickups. The sights were bang on at 25 yards. The trigger on the ISSC is very light and smooth and have noticed that my rifle has different sights from previous models I've seen on the net. I assume ISSC is trying to improve on this model and thats good news and I know its early to judge this firearm on its long term use, but for now I'm impressed.

Keep an eye on your #108 bolts .. Your lock washer will be on the stock side next to the head .. Do not move it to the other side next to the BCG ( pics here in an other thread may confuse you ) Based on all the problems reported on the early units , I used blue locktite on both my #108 bolts ( Auschutz recommends the use of blue locktite on the RX-22 and that manual was printed in May ..

My May unit was like your June unit .. It also had the RX-22 standard iron sights ..

Get the H&K pins from Rage in the US $6.00 ( three pins ) , you just need the two small ones for the lower .. Will allow you to easily keep an eye on the #108 bolts ..

I check all bolts after each range trip .. and if the son and grankids are active , I will check it at about every 200 to 300 rounds .. Just takes a second ... Have not had any problems .. Trust the 108's to the locktite , so may stop that check completely

North Sylva will confirm for you there is no Version 2 , but if you do not want your unit to become as you call it a Version 1 , get some locktite ( blue .. Canadian Tire $9.00 ) on those #108 bolts ASAP .. At least before you get too many rounds past the first 250. The current factory upgrades ( since May 2012 ) use a lock water on the top one and the bottom one has been up graded to steel from stainless, but I would still recommend the locktite .. Enjoy this great rifle .. I do Mine hates Winchester anything .. But loves federal blue , American eagle , CCI round nose and HP , really wakes up and flies right on CCI Stingers. ( could just be the wax on the Winchester combined with the poly mags .. Now that is something that needs a Version 2 .. Maybe some steel lips at least .. It has been confirmed that The RX-22 mags fit .. But they are also full poly)

I can't get Velositors locally so I have 500 rounds enroute .. It should like them as well , but mostly I use Federal blue HP to punch holes in paper ...
